Fanny Andersen teases Dua Lipa collab as she admits she 'lubes up' for outfits

Fanny Andersen has admitted collaborating with Dua Lipa is something she would love to do in the future.

The rising star released her new single We Don’t Talk Anymore last month and revealed the meaning behind the song stemmed from the sadness she felt after falling out with a friend.

The songwriter revealed she wrote the song alongside a producer in under two hours and confessed she wanted it to sound like “a really good Eurovision song.”

In an exclusive chat with Daily Star, the Norwegian singer also revealed she would love to team up with Dua Lipa and admitted she would go to extreme lengths to squeeze into one of the star’s skimpy bodysuits.

She said: “Imagine doing a tour and looking like Dua Lipa in one of those bodysuits, she is incredible.”

“I’m not the same size as her I know, but I will fu**ing put lube all over my body and slide into that bodysuit 100 percent,” Fanny added.

The 27-year-old went on to say: “I would love to collab with Dua Lipa because she has this fabulous 80s 90s kind of vibe to her. But I would love to see her kind of roughen it up a bit, maybe talking about sex in a more grim way, I would love to see her be a bit more grim.”

March saw Fanny release her burgeoning electro-pop single titled Jump The Gun and to celebrate its release, a billboard went up in London that read “I Love Fanny.”

The billboard was vandalised, however, with people writing “Stop objectifying women it’s 2022,” as they were unaware of the true meaning behind it.

Speaking about the confusion her name can cause, Fanny said: “I did find it funny because you can be called sexist for literally putting ‘I Heart’ and then your actual birth name and there’s something in that that’s so comical to me.”

The singer added: “If it was a man that put up I heart Fanny posters then I would be livid, but it was me and it’s my name. It was about loving yourself in all the ways you can love yourself.”

Fanny detailed the negative experiences she had in the industry when she first started out and confirmed she faced backlash for rising quickly.

She explained: “I think it annoyed people that I did a lot of stuff very quickly. I released that single and then I went to London and had my first show ever and then my second or third time on stage was at VG-Lista which is the same as Capital Summer Ball and that was with my first ever single I did that tour.

“I think it just rubbed people the wrong way because people thought I got it easy, but it wasn’t that way at all.”

The Pretty Girls Are Never Lonely hitmaker added: “But it wasn’t all bad because you also get this insane amount of love as well which is amazing.”
