Furious Kim Kardashian 'demands' Kanye West removes 'Pete Davidson is dead' message

Reality star Kim Kardashian has slammed Kanye West for posting an ‘appalling’ meme about Pete Davidson being dead on Instagram following her break-up with the comedian.

Kim, who shares four children with the Donda rapper, split up with the comedian, 28, after nine months together.

In a twisted reaction to the news, a seemingly bitter and gloating Kanye, 45, stunned fans when he posted a photo of a fake New York Times newspaper with the headline ‘Skete Davidson dead at age 28’.

A message at the bottom added: ‘Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers.’

A source has now told MailOnline that Kim is vigorously defending Pete and is furious with Kanye’s behaviour, demanding he takes the post down.

“Kim won’t stand for this. She is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t.

“She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects.

She has tried incredibly hard to have a good co-parenting situation for the children.

‘She won’t stand for this type of behaviour from him.’

The Skims founder, 41, split with Pete last week after their romance blossomed in October last year following Kim’s hosting debut on Saturday Night Live.

After less than a year together the pair decided to just be friends citing the stress of long-distance and clashing schedules.

Kim is based in the US while Pete is currently filming in Australia.

Kanye has been hit with backlash from fans over the post, with many begging him to take the post down, telling him that he should ‘rise above’ the behaviour.

They wrote in the comments: ‘Take this down, god. you’re free to rise above. love you.’

Kim and Kanye – who have four children together, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 – have been co-parenting since she filed for divorce back in January 2021.

The post is not the first time that Kanye has hit out at the mother of his children, being given a ban on Instagram for 24 hours in March after violating their policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment..
