Gok Wan transforms his look as he ditches iconic blond hair for sleek new 'do

Gok Wan has transformed his look by ditching his bleach blonde locks and transforming back to his natural dark hair.

The This Morning fashion guru opted to get rid of his peroxide hairstyle as he headed into 2022 embracing a lower-maintenance look.

Taking to Instagram to unveil the new look he excitedly told his fans he had decided to adopt the change of style.

He wrote: “Blonde be gone. 2022 I’m ready for you.”

Impressed by the new hairstyle Gok’s followers rushed to heap praise on him as they gushed over the change.

One wrote: “Suave and strong look – can’t believe how more defined your facial features are! And takes years off x.”

Another added: “Look much younger and fresher, better without the heavy black frames too I think.”

A third enthused: “Wow it takes 20 years off you! Dark is better for you x”

Gok recently took part in Panto over the festive season.

The stylist previously transformed his hair when he shaved off his trademark quiff for charity when his 12-year-old niece was diagnosed with leukaemia.

The 47-year-old TV presenter embarked on a healthy living plan after gaining weight during the first lockdown, turning to the Couch to 5K system to help him regain his fitness.

He previously told The Sun: “People think I’m this massive ball of confidence, but actually I’m not at all. Being on my own at home and not being able to see friends and family, I genuinely found it really scary.

“I’m not used to being on my own. It was really tough. It was a bit of a novelty at first, so I overindulged in everything. Social media, being on the telephone, text, food — all of the stuff I never had time to do.

“I genuinely thought I would do one or two sessions and that would be it. But I just kept at it. And I stuck at it because I could feel the benefits instantly.”
