Good Morning Britain star blasts 'irritating' Matt Hancock in savage I'm A Celeb dig

Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold has revealed the reason that Matt Hancock irritates him on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

The ITV presenter acts as GMB’s resident showbiz expert and never fails to bring viewers the very latest updates from the celebrity world.

But it seems the entertainment host isn’t a huge fan of former health secretary Matt Hancock as he admitted the former health secretary has a “grating voice”.

Richard returned to GMB on Tuesday (November 15) after some time off, but he was in for a nasty surprise as from his colleagues.

Mr Arnold was tasked with taking on a gruelling mock Bushtucker trial which involved having a giant yellow snake wrapped around his neck.

Shortly after that, Richard was tested on his knowledge of this year’s series as he had to answer questions about the episodes so far.

But when asked why he thought why Matt was being voted to do so many Bushtucker trials, Richard jibed that it could have been that “grating voice” of his.

Host Richard Madeley asked: “What reason did Matt Hancock give for why he thinks the public keep voting for him?”, to which Arnold quipped: “It’s not that grating voice, is it?”

But then he gave a more serious answer of “facial expressions”, which happened to be right.

Richard Arnold vomited live on air during the mean challenge as he had to chug a blended smoothie containing offal, heart and kidneys.

Mr Hancock has done six trials on the show so far, but luckily for the MP he was spared from the trials for the first time this week.

That’s because Chris Moyles, Boy George and Babatunde Aleshe will suffer through the Angel of Agony trial on Tuesday night (November 15).

Good Morning Britain airs 6am to 9am every day on ITV1 and ITVHub.
