Harry Potter's Tom Felton 'returns' to Hogwarts after unveiling studio tour exhibition

Harry Potter star Tom Felton ‘returned’ to Hogwarts this week (June 21, 2022), after he unveiled a new exhibition at Warner Brothers Studio Tour London.

The actor, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, visited Warner Brothers Studio for the launch of a new exhibition called Mandrakes and Magical Creatures.

Tom came face-to-face with a familiar creature from Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets, as he stepped inside the doors of Professor Sprout’s greenhouse to hold a Mandrake from the original film.

Tom Felton held up a mandrake plant and heard its famous shrieking, in a moment that will remind many fans of Draco’s first encounter with a Mandrake in the second film.

That’s not all, as Tom also met with the Venomous Tentacula hanging from the ceiling inside the greenhouse, as well as the famous dragon sculptures decorating the outside.

His appearance marked the first unveiling of a new exhibition at Harry Potter Studio Tour London, and a sweet return for the actor to the Warner Brothers studios – one of the locations where the famous film series was made.

Just like Tom Felton, fans will also be able to step inside Professor Sprout’s greenhouse for the first time this summer.

The set features as part of a new Mandrakes and Magical Creatures exhibition, which runs from July 1 to September 12, 2022.

As part of the tour, visitors will be able to recreate moments from Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets, as they can even try to pull out a potted Mandrake prop from the interactive exhibition.

As well as visiting the original greenhouse built especially for the film, visitors will also be welcomed on the tour by the Frog Choir scene that featured in Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban.

That’s not all, as the exhibition will also feature an animatronic Monster Book of Monsters, statues of magical creatures including Fawkes and a chance to see costumes worn by the cast of the famous films.

If that was not enough, Professor Sprout’s greenhouse will also join new additions to the exterior sets that are on display as part of the tour, including the fountain from the Hogwarts courtyard and a 1:3 scale version of the Weasley family’s Burrow.

Professor Sprout’s greenhouse, as part of the new Mandrakes and Magical Creatures exhibition, is opening at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London on July 1.
