Holly Willoughby teases cleavage in plunging DOI gown after racy dresses sparked fury

Holly Willoughby has seemingly proved to critics – who had previously slammed her for wearing risky attire on Dancing on Ice – that she doesn’t care what they think.

Standing-up against those who had issued grievances to Ofcom about her past wardrobe choices, the 40-year-old bombshell stepped out in a plunging red frock that demanded attention.

In the first look snaps, the ITV star stuns in an elegant off-the-shoulder gown while attending the photo-call session with co-host Philip Schofield and all of the judges – Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Ashley Banjo and their newest panel member Oti Mabuse.

The blonde presenter stole the limelight as she rocked a floor-length garment that was nicely cinched in at her waist and boasted a daring side slit.

She added touches of glam using accessories, including diamond droplet earrings and bronze strappy heels.

Last year Holly faced backlash, with one particular cleavage flashing dress racking up 341 complaints to Ofcom.

On the launch show in 2021, the television personality wore a baby-pink low-cut frock that was scattered with sequins and jewels.

The £6,240 vintage dress by Dany Atrache fuelled criticism from ITV viewers – with many online users questioning Holly’s choice of attire for a family programme.

At the time, one tweet of complaint read: “‘Why doesn’t Holly dress appropriately for being at an ice rink? What a totally inappropriate outfit!”

While another person agreed: “Why does Holly wear that type of dress on a family show?”

This time, Holly appeared to have all the girl support that she needed, with judge Oti Mabuse also upping the outfit stakes in a glittery minidress.

Showing off her toned and trim legs, the former Strictly pro modelled the short-cut frock and towering stiletto heels.

Speaking about her new role with ITV, Oti said: “As a professional dancer I have always had so much respect for the skating professionals on Dancing On Ice.

“It is an exceptional skill that is also so beautiful to watch. I’m feeling really enthusiastic about joining the panel alongside the legendary Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo.

“I can’t wait to see the celebrities thrive as they learn how to ice-skate and to champion the professional skaters as they create incredible choreography.

“Having been on both sides of the table, I know a little bit about how they’ll be feeling. It’s more than an honour and I already can’t wait to join the family.”
