Hollywood icon John Travolta stuns fans as he's spotted in Wetherspoons and Morrisons

Hollywood icon John Travolta has left fans gobsmacked after making surprising visits to Wetherspoons and Morrisons in Norfolk.

The Grease star was also spotted at the Romany Rye in Dereham with two friends enjoying a bite to eat.

Fans couldn’t believe their luck when the A-lister turned up in the pub, especially Jamie Salter who called the experience “unreal.”

The 20-year-old gushed to The Sun: “Meeting John Travolta was unreal. Dereham doesn’t usually play host to some of the most famous Hollywood stars on the planet.”

He continued: “I feel extremely lucky to [have] met him as it certainly wasn’t what I expected to experience on a Thursday night out in Dereham.”

That wasn’t the only time the actor left fans in shock, as just a few days later he was spotted browsing the aisles at the Morrisons in Fakenham.

Shoppers couldn’t believe their eyes, especially part-time security guard Gary Middleton who bumped into the Saturday Night Fever star near the bread counter.

48-year-old Gary revealed that the 68-year-old legend couldn’t have been nicer and said: “He looked at me as I passed him and put his hand out to shake mine.”

The security guard went on to say that he was “very polite to all the staff” and he “had his picture taken with quite a few people.”

He explained that he felt very lucky to meet the actor and that the two “had a really nice chat.”

Morrisons staff member Nicola Gee added that the actor was “very pleasant” and that meeting him was “a memory to treasure.”

The Hollywood icon was more than happy to take pictures with several fans and seemingly engaged in plenty of conversations with the starstruck locals.

The Pulp Fiction star is believed to be staying locally while filming at Raynham Hanger Studios for his upcoming film titled The Shepherd.

Norfolk is worlds away from the actor’s typical surroundings, as last week he was in Los Angeles presenting the award for Best Actor at the 2022 Oscars.
