I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! fans hit out at ITV bosses as they demand a major format change following “boring” Bushtucker Trials.

During Friday’s visit to the Australian jungle, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly welcomed viewers back to the ITV show as they prepared the third gruelling Bushtucker trial for Boy George and Matt Hancock.

This evening, the two campmates were forced to endure three disgusting food challenges which saw them eating fish eyes, natto beans and fried bugs.

Towards the end of the episode the Geordie duo teased the next upcoming Bushtucker trial titled Smellionaire, which expects to see stars putting their general knowledge to the test to avoid the risk of being slimed on TV.

As the boys stepped back into camp once more, the presenting duo revealed that Matt Hancock will be competing in his third Bushtucker challenge alongside former Hollyoaks star Owen Warner.

Despite many viewers enjoying watching the disgraced politician endure horrific trials each night, many have become “bored” at the consistent TV format and have demanded to see other celebrities take part in the challenges.

One user penned: “This is going to get boring now watching Matt do every trial. The others are getting paid for what #ImACeleb.”

Another agreed: “Come on guys its boring watching Matt do all of the trials now #ImACeleb” as a third asked: “Ok can we stop voting for Matt now it’s boring #ImACeleb.”

One viewer fumed: “It’s boring for #MattHancock to do the trials over and over. It’s getting boring now.”

While another ITV fan added: “It’s gonna be so boring if it’s matt all the time he’s not even entertaining in trials #ImACeleb.”

Since the MP joined the camp on Wednesday, he has been put through his paces to bring home a as many stars as possible to feed the rest of the celebrities in the main camp.

So far he has taken part in three trials, one where he was forced to dig around for stars as creepy crawlies fell on his head, while another tasked him to face his fears in a gruelling crocodile challenge.
