The former TOWIE star Billie Shepherd has given fans and followers a glimpse inside her incredible £1.4m Essex mansion makeover which is underway after a two-year-long build.
Billie and Greg have also been updating fans with the homes’ progress on it’s own Instagram account, @homewiththesheps, which they had specially created for the renovation.
The home still has a long way to go, but Billie has teased the grand and extravagant house design and her goal for the decadent mansion.
The reality TV star said the work on her dream home was “coming along really well” and should be completed in Spring.
Under Renovation
The construction has come a long way since they were given the go-ahead in August 2020.
Last year, Billie admitted that she’d bumped heads with the neighbours at her new Brentwood property after they opposed the couple’s plans to demolish the original 1920’s house and replace it with the five-bed palace.
Billie said: “There’s only one neighbour to the side of us, and he had a lot of reasons as to why he didn’t want us to go ahead, but it was getting a bit silly in the end. The house is so old, whoever was going to buy it was going to have to renovate.”
A roof and windows

In Autumn last year, the TOWIE star had taken to the house’s Instagram account to celebrate that after waiting for many months they finally had windows and roof put in.
D-I-Y Billie had posted a video on the channel of her laying down the tiles on the roof and getting them into place.
She wrote: “Windows in!! @cherwelluk @breslinr have been very busy this week. We went for timber sliding sash windows in white… “
Her renovation gang replied: “It’s coming together, lovely girl.”
5 bedroom palace

Although Billie and her boo, Greg, only have one child, seven-year-old Nelly Shepherd, the duo made sure their house was fit for a princess or five, as the house design caters for five bedrooms.
According to the planning application, all five bedrooms will be on the first floor, with the en-suite master bedroom having a huge dressing room.
Three of the other en-suite bedrooms will have walk-in wardrobes.
Billie is definitely making sure that for any visitors staying over – aka sister Sam and her children – that they are treated like royalty with multiple bedrooms to stay in.
Extravagant pool and grand garden

The pair have gone all out and made sure this will be their dream home, even including a romantic garden design.
From the plans and pictures shared, the garden still has a fair way to go but the pair have opted for a huge newly dug out rectangle swimming pool that can be spotted in the property’s grounds.
With diggers and a team of builders working hard to get their perfect garden ready, as seen on Instagram, there’s no doubt that when it comes to Summer, the family will be splashing about and inviting friends over.
