The star could be seen breaking down in tears during her first night in the jungle, as she told The Bush Telegraph: “I’m going to say that my first night’s sleep in the jungle wasn’t great.”

She added: “I think I was over emotional, I was missing the kids. It just got released in tears really, and I just couldn’t stop crying.”

The Loose Women star tends to keep their family life away from the limelight, but occasionally shares glimpses into their private life on Instagram.

Their beautiful home is visible in some of the snaps, with Charlene’s chic living room featuring a grey velvet sofa and flat screen wall-mounted TV, complimented by a grey rug, wooden tiled flooring and grey and white walls.

The living room also includes a log fire, with a basket of logs nestled nearby for an extra cosy feel to the house.

Charlene’s bedroom can be seen in some of the stunning selfies that the star shares on Instagram, with the room featuring a floor-length mirror and large bay window.

The window lets lots of light into the room, which makes it a perfect place to take selfies, with the surrounding areas decorated with white walls and white linen bedding.

The presenter also gave us all envy when she posted a selfie in her walk-in wardrobe, with the star’s many stylish outfits stored away on the rails and shelves surrounding the room.

Elsewhere in the house, Charlene’s patio features beautiful black rattan furniture and a barbecue, where she and her family can relax.

The star shared a photograph of the patio decorated for a family member’s birthday, with the banners and décor matching the gorgeous furniture.

The garden is also the perfect place to relax in nature away from the cameras, as bright pink flowers can be seen growing in flower beds in the garden.

Charlene also shared a sweet snap of her children by giant sunflowers in the garden, with the flowers adding a pop of colour to the already stunning exterior of the home.

The family home is also decorated with objects that add a rustic feel to the property, including autumn leaves hanging on doors and windows.

Another room in the property also shows multi-coloured playmats and children’s toys next to a large grey sofa, while another shows Charlene’s children sat at a large oak table near the patio area.

Charlene’s family have taken to Instagram since the star arrived in the jungle, to say that they are proud of the star and that her children are counting down the days until she comes home.

Sharing a sweet snap of Charlene and her children, the caption read: “Before she left she made this countdown calendar for Alfie and Florence so they can mark off each day until Char comes home.

“Keep going Char, we are so proud of you!”
