Posting to Twitter, fans blasted This Morning’s win as a “fix”.

They also made accusations that the awards show was “rigged”, with some viewers demanding the programme hand back the award.

One fan wrote: “What a fix,” while another asked: “Did @ITV Fix it for the #QueueJumpers to Win from #ThisMorning ???”

Meanwhile, a third added: “Surely that’s rigged? There’s no way they won lol they’re hated.”

A fourth fan said: “This is a perfect example of a fix.”

Another sarcastically quipped: “Let’s celebrate the queue jumpers. Total fix!”

A sixth fan commented: “Probably rigged the vote,” while a seventh added: “Should not have won. Scandal. Give it back.”

“Completely shameful. No wonder they got booed. This was fixed,” another viewer concluded.

Despite a very public backlash amid their queue-jumping scandal, Phillip and Holly put on a brave face while walking the award show’s red carpet.

“We have the most amazing team, I have the best friend, we have the best boss.”

Addressing the audience, Holly added: “Thank you so much. This award means everything because it is voted by you and I think This Morning has a very special relationship with you.

“You make our show for us, you really do.”
