Jacques O'Neill's mum shares sweet message as she 'misses' son while in villa

Jacques O’Neill’s mum and his pup seems to be missing the Love Island contestant as she shared a sweet message on her Instagram.

Mum Janet Wright, who recently celebrated her birthday without her son, took to her Instagram to a share a photo of her dog lounging on the sofa with the caption: “Waiting for Jacques to come home.”

Seeing the heartfelt post, one of Janet’s followers replied: “Well hopefully he won’t be home til the last day. Him and Paige have to stay in there, they’re the best couple.”

Meanwhile, making reference to the dog, another fan said: “Aww looks sad.”

Last week, Janet was forced to address trolls who were sending her “nasty” messages about her rugby player son Jacques.

Sharing a throwback photo of herself and Jacques on Instagram, she penned: “People sending nasty messages to me please can you stop it does hurt thank you.”

Rushing to the comment section, her followers were quick to show their support and told her to ignore the trolls.

One person wrote: “Pay no attention to it Jan. you’ve absolutely nothing to worry about!”

Another shared: “Ignore the trolls! They troll because they don’t have life’s and got nothing better to do x.”

Meanwhile a third said: “Some sad low lives in the world with nothing better to do who clearly don’t know the lovely person you are.”

The news comes after former Love Island contestant Remi Lambert said Jacques “ruined” his experience on the show.

Speaking openly on podcast show Reality with Will Njobvu, he said: “There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired, lots of stuff that went on,” before asking whether it was ok to expand on the situation.

“Basically, me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments, it made my experience s**t, it ruined it for me.

“People were saying it was because he has a rugby persona, but you can’t treat anyone like that.

Remi added: “He was just trying to get on to me, being like ‘My name’s Remi, I’m hard, I’m from Manny [Manchester]’.

“It was constant, it was so jarring, but I was the only one to stick up for myself, he would always do that to people,” he explained.
