Katie Price's fiancé Carl Woods fractured rib which left him 'crying in pain'

Carl Woods, Katie Price ’s fiance, has fractured his rib after he performed a martial arts move during training.

The 32-year-old did the stunt and proceeded to break down in tears following the move which left him with a nasty injury.

A source spoke to The Sun about his accident: “Carl suffered a fractured rib during training for his upcoming Celeb MMA fight. He’s been working so hard in the build up so obviously this injury setback is a massive blow.”

They continued: “It’s thought to be a hairline fracture and is so painful that Carl’s been crying in pain. He’s devastated but determined to stay positive about his fight, even though it’s been thrown into jeopardy.”

Carl’s representative also spoke to The Sun about his unfortunate fracture.

Carl was gearing up for the Celeb MMA cage fight which will be hosted in Wembley with a whole host of famous faces including James Lock and Aisleyne Horgan Wallace.

The event will be filmed and the sixteen celebrities will compete in a 12-week programme to eventually compete against each other in the OVO Arena.

Ahead of the fight, Carl was recently told to expect to “get his head caved in” during the event.

His opponent said there’s “no bad blood” but warned Carl that “he is getting his head caved in”.

Carl has been with former glamour model Katie Price since June 2020 and the pair have been engaged for a year.

Back in March, it was reported that the couple had “split” and “called off their engagement” amid strain on their relationship due to their court cases.

A source told the sun that it had been a “difficult couple of months” and their “ongoing court cases have just added even more stress to the situation”.

They continued on to say that their relationship “really seems to be over for now” and they were “both very sad about it”.

However, it was announced in April that they had decided to rekindle their love.
