Katy Perry left her followers wide-eyed after she shared a jaw-dropping snap in a sizzling gown ahead of the Super Bowl weekend.

The 37-year-old pop star sent social media fans crazy for the widely anticipated Super Bowl half-time performance with her latest Instagram post.

In a post to her 152 million followers, the Teenager Dream singer dazzled in a divine brown gown which flaunted her impeccable collar bones and flawless skin.

In the snap she held an American football ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl game while posing for the camera and holding her tiny waist.

Leaving her fans concerned, the singer simply captioned the snap: “Damn should I retire?”

In the gorgeous snap she wore a pair of matching long sleeve leather brown gloves.

The chart-topping sensation had her beautiful brown locks slick back behind her eyes and accessorised with big hooped earrings.

The Roar singer opted for a full glam face of makeup as she pouted her full-matte rose coloured lips and flaunted her incredible jaw-dropping eye makeup.

It didn’t take long until the post was inundated with comments from her gushing fans and followers.

One starstruck follower commented: “OMG You look so hot!”

Another penned: “Looking amazing please don’t retire.”

A third added: “ICONIC but don’t retire”, followed by several love heart emojis.

The Hot N Cold singer recently offered a very colourful glimpse into her sex life with fiancé Orlando Bloom.

This century’s first Super Bowl in Los Angeles will air this Sunday with a stellar half-time performance.

It’s been announced that this year’s artists taking to the stage to perform in the sporting event are Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

The five artists have combined for 43 Grammys and have created 22 No. 1 Billboard albums.
