Kelly Brook forced to apologise after suffering awkward blunder on This Morning

Kelly Brook was forced to apologise during a This Morning travel segment after accidentally snapping a flower.

The bombshell was seen exploring the beautiful Isles of Scilly on Monday’s instalment of the breakfast show.

Kelly then enjoyed a tour of a garden with an expert who pointed out beautiful flowers.

Kelly was told about the king protea plant by the expert and then the pair went hunting for one.

The expert explained: “It has a flower about half the size of a football and it flowers at most times of the year.”

Kelly soon spotted one but was left mortified after accidentally snapping off one of the flowers by its stem.

“Oh look at that,” she said, while grabbing the stem – but a huge snap was then heard as it fell off, as Kelly cried: “Oh!”

Kelly giggled as the expert quipped: “Whoops.”

The model apologised saying: “I’m so sorry.”

Kelly recently hit back at negative comments made about her weight online.

The Slim Fast Ambassador told how her figure has “changed” over the years and fluctuated for “various reasons”.

She also explained “We’re all getting older, our bodies all change and hormones play a huge part in how we look.

She told The Sun : “It’s so crazy when I read [negative comments] because anyone who has anything to say about anyone’s body, well I just think that’s outrageous.

“I think people aren’t accepting of seeing people change and people in the public eye have to be embalmed and stay young and thin and beautiful forever.”

“There have been loads of reasons why my weight has fluctuated over the years – whether that’s being pregnant and having miscarriages, or whether it has been work stress, lifestyle or perimenopause, and living in LA one minute and the UK the next.”

Kelly recently celebrating her 1000 th day of healthy weight after losing two stone on the SlimFast 3.2.1. Plan.

Kelly said she’s felt “encouraged” to be healthy and eat the right food while working on the plan.

She added she’s happiest now at size 12.

Kelly has created a series of ‘Fakeaway’ recipes as healthy alternatives to tasty menu classics, including fish and chips to spaghetti carbonara.
