One user wrote: “How can Rula and Maureen Lipman be mid 70s? They’d both get away with being at least 10 years younger. 70 is the new 60!”

Another said: “That clip! Wow. Always stunning.”

Speaking to Claudia Winkleman on Radio 2, Maureen said the pair had a “wonderful week” on DNA journey and said it was one of the best jobs they had done.

Rula added: “Maureen didn’t want to go at all, she is not a great traveller, and I kept saying to her ‘Listen, this will be the end of a beautiful friendship if you don’t come.'”

Ultimately, she was persuaded to do it and the pair had a great time.
