Lorraine viewers distracted by Married At First Sight UK star's outfit on ITV show

Lorraine viewers were left distracted by one guest’s outfit choice during the latest instalment of the ITV talk show.

Host Christine Lampard, who is filling in for Lorraine Kelly, chatted to Married At First Sight UK star April and Chanita ahead of the series debut on Monday (August 29) night.

The brides, who were both sporting their wedding rings, opened up about their big days and shared why they signed up for the E4 social experience.

However, Chanita’s glam pink silk blouse got fans at home talking online.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Why’s one of them turned up in her night gown?”

Another added: “Is she wearing a dressing gown?”

A third person posted: “Did she arrive at the studio late? Why was she in a satin robe.”

While a fourth social media said: “Why is that woman in her dressing gown?”

Chanita, 29, is a social worker from Derby who has said she’s more than ready to meet her life partner.

Before single life, Chanita was in a 10-year relationship but she’s now looking for love and says an essential quality in a partner is someone set on family life in a loving home.

It’s set to be a drama-filled series this year, and a huge new concept borrowed from the Australia version has been introduced that will see new “intruder” couples thrown in mid-way through the show which expert Mel Schilling says will “really throw a spanner in the works”.

She explained: “The new couples thrown in confronts the other couples and shakes up the social dynamic. We’ve really upped the ante this year.”

Sexpert Charlene Douglas added: Normally there aren’t things that people say, you know, when it comes to sex that shock me necessarily.

“There are definitely some shocking moments where some couples were quite open about things that they enjoy, and that was interesting.

“I think what’s really important is some of what the experts were saying, myself included, around boundaries and how you have these kinds of conversations, about the joy in sex and so I hope the viewers will get a lot out of it in terms of the conversation about sex and the world of sex in general.”

Married At First Sight UK returns to E4 on Monday, August 29 at 9pm.

Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV at 9pm
