Love Island fans concerned as they spot change in star's behaviour as boys spark fury

Love Island fans have been left shocked that Adam Collard has become the most ‘unproblematic and mature’ boy in the villa.

The hunky bombshell first appeared on Love Island in 2018, where he caused all kinds of drama coupling up with Kendall, Rosie, Zara and Darylle.

Fans were shocked to hear that the 26-year-old was returning to this years series, and he vowed to ‘ruffle a few feathers’ when he arrived.

However, he has coupled up with Paige Thorne and uncharacteristically has stayed completely loyal to her.

Viewers following the show on Twitter were shocked by the returning Islander’s second stint in the villa.

One fans said: “Can’t believe we’re witnessing a villa where Adam Collard is the least problematic”

Another added: “I thought Adam was supposed to go in and stir s**t up but it seems the boys are perfectly capable of doing that themselves and Adam is being nice???”

A third penned: “The fact that Adam is coming across as the most sensible & mature man in the Villa is the biggest plot twist of the season”

A fourth said: “Main shock of this series of #LoveIsland has to be Adam Collard entering the villa and being the best behaved and most grown up male in there.”

While a fifth wrote: “Not an Adam Collard redemption arc perhaps.”

Even though Adam might be behaving himself, fans have been left angry with co-star Luca Bish.

Fans of the show watched the Islanders partake in the Movie Night Challenge last night on Sunday, which saw Luca begin to question Gemma Owen’s loyalty after seeing clips of her ‘flirting’ with Billy Brown, as well as footage of him encouraging his fellow boys in Casa Amor.

Viewers then called for Gemma to break off her relationship with the fishmonger, leading to the star’s family posting a statement saying they “don’t condone” his behaviour.

They claimed his behaviour is not reflective of the boy they ‘know and love at home’ but noted that his Love Island experience is an intense one.

‘I want to apologise on behalf of Luca for his insensitive reaction on last night’s episode.

“I know that when he watches it back, he will be embarrassed and deeply apologetic.

‘We as his family don’t condone his behaviour last might, but we do understand he is in an intense environment where his actions are heightened.

“Last night was not reflective of the boy we all know and love at home.

‘Please be aware death threats and nasty comments totally overstep the mark and something we has a family should not have to ensure, for this reason we have turned off the comments and messages.

‘For all those who have sent messages checking in on us, we would like to thank you very much and we see you.’
