Love Island fans floored as they spot Luca's 'awkward' reaction to Remi's 'cringey' rap

Love Island fans were in for a real treat on Wednesday’s episode as newbie Remi Lambert showcased his rap skills to his new housemates.

The 22-year-old Manchester hunk joined many of his co-stars around the firepit for brief intros as Remi explained to the group he was a model and rapper.

This prompted the cast to ask Remi to demo some of lyrics which he was more than willing to do.

Remi rapped: “You don’t get a second chance at life, that’s why I put my hustle first.

“Trying to better myself, under construction in the works. Working on personal development, finding you freedom is one of the perks.”

As he lunged in to spit some bars, he appeared to forget some of the words which prompted an unimpressed side-eye glance from Luca Bish to some of his fellow Islanders.

This certainly didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans who were waiting in the wings for a response – with Luca delivered the goods.

One person penned: “LUCAS FACE AFTER THAT RAP IM SCREAMINGGGGGG.”

Another penned: “Nahhh I’m screaming look at Lucas face while remi raps.”

“Lucas face is me watching Remi rap God man you should have kept quiet #loveIsland,” chimed in a third.

Remi’s rap also sparked some nostalgia among viewers, with many taking to their keyboards to compare it to when Chris Hughes epic rap moment from 2017.

“Want me to rap anyone? Lift the mood a little bit?” asked Chris as Olivia Attwood and others all respond in sync: “No.”

One online user joked: “chris hughes would be proud of remi’s rap #loveisland,”

While a second shared a picture of Kem Centinay and Chris, including the quip: “The only people allowed to rap in the villa end of #loveisland @KemCetinay @chrishughes_22.”

Before entering the villa Remi featured in a number of rap video which have since been doing the rounds online and have received backlash from fans for being derogatory towards women.

Love Island airs weekdays on ITV2 at 9pm.
