Love Island Gemma's mum slams Luca's toe-sucking habit as she enters villa

Love Island star Gemma Owen’s mum Louise didn’t seem at all pleased about Luca Bish’s toe-sucking habit.

Louise, who is married to former footballer Michael Owen, entered the villa during the Meet The Parents episode on Sunday night (July 31).

The penultimate episode of the ITV2 reality-dating show saw the islanders enjoy an emotional reunion with their parents, and their partners meet their villa beaus for the first time.

Gemma met with her mum for the first time since entering into the villa at the beginning of June, and since finding love with fish monger Luca.

However, Louise definitely didn’t approve of the Brighton-based hunk’s bedroom antics – despite voting for them to pair up at the start of the series.

Everything was made clear on her disdainful face as she grilled Gemma on the toe-sucking incident by the pool.

“Oh I tell you one thing that is very weird. The sucking the toe thing in the pool,” said Gemma’s pal Sarah.

The 19-year-old’s mum then asked her daughter a candid question while looking slightly taken aback by the couple’s antics.

Quizzing the brunette beauty she asked: “Is that a new thing?”

To which Gemma replied: “I’m not that bothered about it, he just likes my feet.”

In past episodes viewers have been shocked to see Luca sucking on Gemma’s toes.

On multiple occasions the tattooed heartthrob has taken a liking to his love interest’s feet, with him enjoying a quick lick and suck of her toes.

The Meet The Parents episode concluded with Paige Thorne and Adam Collard getting dumped from the Love Island villa.

With the Welsh paramedic and hunky ripped returning bombshell being booted off the show, they missed out on the grand finale by one day.

This came as fans speculated the ‘boat curse’ after one viewer spotted a common denominator.

The Love Island grand finale will air Monday, August 1 on ITV2 and ITVHub.
