Love Island star 's**t shamed' as she's told to 'cover up inappropriate top' on flight

Love Island Australia star Amelia Marni has accused Jetstar of “s**t shaming.”

The 25-year-old took to her Instagram stories yesterday (May 15) to claim that a male flight attendant told her to “cover up” because her choice of clothing was “too revealing.”

The former reality star shared a photo of the outfit she was wearing on the flight which was a pair of khaki trousers alongside a black crop top.

She fumed: “We love a s**t shame moment. A male flight attendant just told me to cover up and my clothing was too revealing. I can’t wear this and it’s inappropriate to wear on Jetstar.”

She added that she has “NEVER heard of this” before and that crop tops are her “brand.”

Amelia, who soared to fame in 2018 after appearing on season one of Love Island Australia, followed her story with a screenshot of the dress requirements for Jetstar, accompanied by the caption “deadset confused.”

The dress requirements state: “You don’t have to dress to impress when you fly with Jetstar, but there are minimum dress requirements. For your safety, all adults and children who are capable of walking must wear footwear (thongs are acceptable) during boarding and disembarking.”

She then went on to post another screenshot, but this time of a section on Jetstar’s website about “offensive clothing.”

It read: “Please refrain from wearing any clothing or carrying personal items that display words, images, symbols or slogans that may reasonably be deemed offensive.”

Alongside the screenshot, Amelia wrote: “Literally the only thing I could find… we love a Man abusing his authority.”

Daily Star has contacted Jetstar for comment.

The brunette bombshell left the Spanish villa in 2018 and has become a popular influencer, boasting 341,000 followers on Instagram.

Amelia and boyfriend Josh Moss, who finished in third place on the show, are the only couple from the first season to still be dating now.

The loved-up pair have gone from strength to strength since leaving the villa and announced last July that they had moved in together.
