Love Island's Chloe Burrows calls Gemma 'too mature' despite her being youngest islander

Love Island star Chloe Burrows has called 19-year-old Gemma Owen “too mature.”

Chloe, who shot the fame after finishing second place on last year’s Love Island, is one of many contestants who have been giving their opinion on the latest series, which is well into its second week.

The reality star, 27, hasn’t held back on what she thinks about the current islanders and has had plenty of things to say about dressage rider Gemma.

In a recent tweet, the JD ambassador stated she thinks Gemma is too mature for Luca Bish, despite him being four years older than her.

Chloe Burrows believes Gemma Owen is “too mature” despite the fact she is only 19

Responding to someone’s tweet, she wrote: “I actually think *and don’t kill me for saying this* but she’s tooooo mature lmao my opinion on her has done a big 180 lmao.”

Like many of her tweets, the comments were filled with people who had differing views on the topic.

“I wouldn’t say too mature, but yeah… just seems like she’s overly cautious when it comes to men. Almost strict. A case of once bitten, twice shy, maybe?,” one user suggested.

Another claimed: “If anything I think its the opposite. she’s way too young to be in there, she seems v anxious to me.”

“She thinks she’s mature. But tbh, she her actions remind of the mantra, treat them mean, keep them keen,” a third stated.

Chloe has been particularly vocal on the daughter of Michael Owen and slammed her during the second episode (June 7), saying her attitude “stinks.”

The influencer also expressed dismay towards the teenager yesterday (June 13) when she urged Love Island to change the “main character” on the show.

After the arrival of Gemma’s ex-boyfriend Jacques O’Neill, 23, several viewers became frustrated and renamed the show ‘Gemma Island’.

The former marketing executive took to Twitter, saying: “Naaaaa i see why you were all saying Gemma Island. Can we put someone else as the main character pls.”
