Love Island's Hugo slams claims he raged after The Apprentice beauty rejected snog

The Apprentice star Lottie Lion has sensationally claimed former Love Island star Hugo Hammond was left furious after she rejected several sexual advances from him, claims which he strongly denies.

Lottie claims that she was invited on a night out by Hugo in December of 2021 along with his friends in Bristol.

The businesswoman went public on her TikTok followers that after initially meeting the former teacher, the pair hit things off instantly and got on “really well”.

However, Lottie claimed that the night soon took a turn for the worse with Hugo being left furious, saying he got her “drunk for nothing” after buying Lottie drinks throughout the night – something which a rep for Hugo responded to by counter claiming was “fabricated for views”.

Hugo’s spokesperson said: “We are denying false allegations and slander made recently. As everyone knows, there are two sides to every story and even more so in false stories fabricated for views.

“Not everything you see online is true. The social media industry can be a very toxic place and unfortunately filled with users with a single aim of putting others down in an attempt to elevate themselves.

“For now, we have decided that it is best for Hugo to take some time away from social media to focus on what is important; his personal relationships and his mental wellbeing; the latter as you can imagine has drastically plummeted due to the simply horrific comments made towards him.

“For those of you that know Hugo and have met him, know that he is a good human being. Don’t make someone another stat. Be kind and never assume.”

Waiving her right to anonymity with her 79,700 followers on TikTok, Lottie said: “As we were sat down, we were having a bit more of a laugh and he tries to kiss me.

“Despite the fact we were getting on so, so well, I was like ‘Ohh, I’m sorry I’m just not feeling that’, initially he’s respectful, backs off and carries on talking.

“Less than five minutes later, he tries again, again I’m like ‘Sorry, I’m not interested’.”

Lottie added: “And then again, he tries to kiss me and when I push him off of me, he screams in my face ‘So you’ve been wasting my entire time, this whole f**king evening and I’ve bought you drinks and got you drunk for nothing.’

“I did buy rounds but that’s not the point anyway, he then says he’s ‘out of my league anyway’ storms off to these two girls who look just about freshly 18 years old to get them to kiss each other.

Lottie later claimed that Hugo had blocked her on social media

The star explained further: “The next day, I woke up and he had blocked me, I just think some men can be so entitled because of their positions in the media.

“You should always be careful when someone brands themselves ‘the nice guy’ because actions speak louder than words, you wouldn’t need to say that if you just acted in ways that make people think that.

“I just think we should start calling out behaviours like this because people can’t get away with it.”
