Love Island's Luca Bish 'not liked by Gemma's dad Michael Owen', expert says

Love Island star Luca Bish could face a backlash from Gemma’s famous dad Michael Owen following his “explosive” antics, an expert has claimed.

Fans have been begging for Meet The Parents after Gemma Owen’s mum Louise called out Luca Bish online.

Now, body language expert Inbaal Hongiman has given her thoughts on the pair’s behaviour during an exclusive chat with Daily Star.

Viewers have been dying for a glimpse of Gemma’s famous footballer dad Michael Owen since the beginning of the series, but he didn’t enter the villa on Sunday night (July 30).

Gemma previously said that she wouldn’t make things with Luca official whilst still inside the villa, as she values her family’s opinions and wants them to meet him first.

However, Inbaal reckons Gemma’s parents are having doubts about the day one contestant.

Here’s everything we know so far about her mum and dad’s thoughts on Gemma’s potential partner.

Michael has admitted that he found tuning into Love Island a “tough gig” and relied on his wife Louise to keep him up to date throughout the series.

A source told MailOnline that although he initially thought the Love Island boys were “decent,” he was still skeptical about Mr Bish.

The source said: “As any dad will understand, Michael isn’t exactly enjoying seeing Gemma’s love life play out on screen. There’s things a dad doesn’t need to witness. He’s seen a few of the episodes and from what he’s [seen], he thinks Luca and the other guys on the island seem like pretty decent fellas.“

However, he reportedly still displayed doubts about Luca: “If Luca ends up officially going out with Gemma, [Michael] will definitely want to meet him and make up his own mind on the guy. Any father would.”

Gemma and her mum Louise appear to have a tight knit bond as the pair frequently share pictures together on their Instagram profiles.

They love nothing more than kicking back and relaxing together, whether it be at the spa or at the beach, they always seem to have the most fun.

This may be the reason why Gemma’s mum took a stand against Luca after he recently came under fire from the public.

During the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge, Louise came to Tasha’s defence after the boys admitted they had taken things too far and the “challenge got personal”.

A clearly unimpressed Louise commented underneath a video of Tasha and her boyfriend Andrew Le Page saying: “I feel it’s close to bullying now, which is so sad to see.”

Gemma also values her mother’s opinion, as after her first date with Luca, she told him that if her mum doesn’t like him then there is no future for them.

Expert Verdict

Celebrity psychic and astrologer Inbaal Hongiman has given her thoughts on the body language displayed during recent events within the villa and analysed both Luca and Gemma’s attitudes towards each other.

After a recent altercation between the couple occurred when Gemma licked Adam’s neck during a challenge, the pair had a very hostile exchange.

Inbaal noted that Luca “struggled to control his emotions” after he told her to “f*** off” and later he “threw his head back in laughter,” which “showed no respect towards her”.

She continued on to say that Gemma was “not impressed” and looked “genuinely cross” and as though “his behaviour is shocking to her”.

Inbaal also noted that this “immature” and “explosive” behaviour may not be giving Gemma’s parents a good impression.

She said: “Whether consciously or subconsciously, everyone can pick up on body language cues. Smiles, huffs, claps and crossed arms are all universal signs that exhibit how people feel. Non-verbal communication accounts for 60-70 percent of human communication.”

“Gemma’s parents, watching their beloved teenage daughter from home, must be analysing every tiny gesture on their TV screen, and they can’t possibly be forming a favourable opinion on Luca based on what they’re seeing.”
