Martine McCutcheon sends EastEnders fans wild as she unveils glam hair transformation

Ex-EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon decided that this was her moment to debut a brand new haircut.

Martine took to Instagram to show off the new look and she unveiled she’s lost several inches from her hair’s length, with the new style now falling just below her chin instead of down towards her waist.

“Back to the Bob #chic #french,” she wrote.

“Looks fab. Have you had it cut or just had extensions out?” asked a fan.

Martine responded to the query, saying: “I cut it with the extensions in last night – they are still in! When they come out I will feel like I’m Willo the wisp!”

Martine is loving her new look as she showed it off to fans

“French girl hair” is a major cut and colour trend, with short and glossy brunette hair inspired by looks you’d find on the chic streets of Paris.

Martine, who last year appeared on The Masked Singer as the Swan, also recently said that walking is the activity which helps her physical and mental health.

She shared a picture of herself on Instagram, wrapped up warm and with her pet dog in tow, and said:

Martine’s hair used to go past her shoulders

“God it’s been chilly this last week in the mornings & it’s taken some will power but a morning walk really does clear the cobwebs in the mind and the muscles feel like they’ve been WD 40’D afterwards!”

The Love Actually actress also said: “I always have a stretch after too… it feels SO good! Breathing, walking, stretching, nature… It really can make your day a whole lot brighter.#walking #nature #focusonthebreath #stretching #greatformindbodyandsoul.”

In her Stories, the mother-of-one added: “A morning walk a day keeps trouble at bay.”

Martine, who rose to fame as EastEnders’ tragic Tiffany Mitchell in the late 90s, has also recently said that she doesn’t want to discuss her weight loss.

She told HELLO! magazine: “Because you know what? I think because it’s the only thing that makes a headline.”

“That makes me sad – I think that we are slowly getting better but women are so much more than that. Slowly women are being braver and not standing for being defined by it.”
