Maya Jama and Stormzy rumoured to be 'back together' three years after splitting up

Stormzy and Maya Jama have reportedly reignited their relationship three years after splitting up.

The rapper, 29, and new Love Island host, 28, are said to have linked up at the GQ Men Of The Year 2022 event in London on Wednesday evening (November 16) and they then left minutes apart at 2am.

They were in conversation at the bash, at the Pavilion members’ club in Knightsbridge, and he was heard telling friends they were back together.

A source told The Sun: “Stormzy and Maya are together again,” adding: “They’re taking it slow but are very much back in each other’s lives after a long time when they didn’t speak or see each other.”

Another source added: “It seemed as though they went somewhere else together afterwards because she walked out and then he followed her out five minutes later.”

The musician and the TV presenter Maya split in 2019 amid claims he had cheated on her, which he denied.

Last year Maya got engaged to Aus­tralian-American basketball player Ben Simmons, but they split this summer after six months.

On his 2019 song Lessons, Big Mike describ­ed his relationship with Maya as the “greatest love I ever knew”, and admitted: “I poured it down the drain.”

He continued: “You gave me the world and then I gave you disrespect. Hand on my heart, this is my biggest of regrets. Thought I’d say it here than rather fling it in a text.

“Until you’re ready to forgive, I’m always wishing you the best.”

Stormzy, whose real name is Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, struggled to get his words out during a concert earlier this year when it came to the line: “I done the dirt and then I figured that you’ll dig it out.”
