Meat Loaf video star Dana Patrick's transformation – new look and career 29 years on

Dana Patrick famously appeared in the late Meat Loaf’s I’d Do Anything For Love in the ’90s – but that wasn’t all she was recognised for.

Following the tragic death of Meat Loaf, Daily Star is remembering his finest tracks, and looking back at I’d Do Anything For Love, we have looked into Dana Patrick and her life now.

The stunning super model also appeared on the cover of Vogue countless times and became wildly recognised for her glorious photos and utterly jaw-dropping physique.

With her stunning brunette locks and her incredible long legs, fans continued to fawn over Dana Patrick after her stint in the music video as she became even more popular in the modelling industry.

She had a plump natural pout and commanded attention everywhere she went, but after many years working as a model and an actress – even once appearing alongside Ryan Reynolds – she stepped back.

Her modelling and acting career ended in the ’90s, and after that, she moved over to her new lavish hobby – photography, and by the sounds of it, she’s very talented.

LA-based photographer Dana has been praised for her knowledge of the industry, particularly after working in it herself for so long.

Over the years the professional has definitely transformed too, with her look changing from supermodel, to casual chic, to stunning blonde.

But what does Dana look like now, and what is her life like?

The most recent photo of Dana, which even still, dates back to 2019, sees the former supermodel donning short blonde hair and glasses.

She remains a natural beauty and can dazzle a room entirely effortlessly.

Her plump pout is still as strong as it was in the ’90s, though she certainly does look a far stretch away from her young self.

The blonde photographer now spends her days snapping images of other people, a far stretch from when she was constantly the star in front of the camera.

Career overhaul

Stunning Dana spent the noughties and the tens building up her career portfolio as she transformed from a model in front of the camera to a photographer behind it.

She now boasts 17,000 followers on her business page on Instagram where she confirms that she’s an LA based photographer who specialises in headshots, beauty and portraits.

Dana has only grown her skill set over the years and her followers continue to gush over her incredible snaps, with many stating they wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Praise for model background

Reviews on Yelp about Dana’s website are nothing short of glowing, particularly when it comes to her vast experience within the industry.

One person wrote: “I got amazing shots and they have really paid off. She has a ton of experience from her modelling days and it really helped me achieve the kind of pictures I needed.”

Another said: “Dana gently guided me, helped me find better angles. Dana herself had a successful modelling career, so she understands what works.”

Meat Loaf video

Many fans will state that Dana’s stint in Meat Loaf’s I’d Do Anything for Love was a favourite.

The stunning brunette appeared in the videos in the ’90s and was seen writhing in a bathtub as she mimed to Lorraine Crosby’s vocals, who was the guest singer on the track.

She did the same in another video, I’d Lie For You (And That’s the Truth). It was stated at the time that she received several offers for record deals after the video aired after people believed she was singing in the video.

Giving up modelling

There is very little information on Dana’s decision to leave the modelling and acting world behind, but after a successful stint in the business, she swapped it all out for professional photography.

It’s clear that she respected the industry and started to get a passion for the incredible work created by photographers and filmmakers.

Her IMDB puts her in the Meat Loaf music video, then as a model in Seinfeld in 1996, playing Leann in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza in 1998 and finally, Good vs Evil as Candy Stripes in 1999.

By 2011, her photography business was going strong and reviews were pouring in, so it’s likely she used the noughties to focus her efforts on behind behind the camera instead of in front of it.
