Meghan Markle had suspicious parcels on set which were 'sent to Harry's security'

Meghan Markle ‘s former security guard, Steve Davies, has recalled some of the challenging moments the Duchess of Sussex faced while filming Suits.

He explained that he was hired by NBC, the network who were filming Suits, to take over the security for her, which he claimed was the most “intense situation” he’s faced in his career.

Steve said he has worked with A-list celebrities before as well as high net worth families, but stated his work with Meghan “blew the meter right out the water”.

He explained that the paparazzi would “do what they had to” to get photos of Meghan and would take “different routes” to get to the studio to avoid them.

Steve also explained that all mail sent into the studio was “screened” as it was coming in – and some were unusual.

“There were some things that came in that were a little bit out of the ordinary and we used to send those over to Harry’s security detail in the UK and they used to take care of those situations and monitor what was going on.”

Meghan explained that her loved ones were concerned for her as she received the unusual post and even questioned if her relationship with Harry was “worth it”.

Although it’s unclear what suspicious parcels Meghan received, she did explain that she needed to call the police following a death threat.

Meghan called the police following claims of stalking and they allegedly told her there was “nothing they could do”.

She said in the documentary: “If any other woman in Toronto right now said to you, ‘I have six grown men who are sleeping in their cars around my house and following me everywhere that I go and I feel scared, wouldn’t you say it was stalking?”

Meghan claims she was told there was nothing that could be done due to her relationship with Prince Harry.

But she explained how “things changed” because she needed to have security after receiving a death threat.

Meghan has recalled her experiences in the documentary with Harry, with three more episodes set to be released next week.
