Nightclub slams Love Island's Ekin-Su for cancelling appearances after TV offers

A nightclub in Leeds has posted a shady message to its social media pages after Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu cancelled her upcoming appearance there.

Ekin-Su’s team informed PRYZM nightclub in Leeds that she would no longer be attending her UK club appearances, due to raking in TV appearances and making “crazy money” elsewhere.

However, the club didn’t hold back with their displeasure that they were no longer hosting the winner of this year’s series of Love Island, taking a jab at Ekin-Su’s fellow Islanders, Danica Taylor, Adam Collard and Billy Brown, who were offered in her place, deeming them “disappointing” and “someone no one cares about”.

PRYZM Leeds posted on their Facebook page: “We have been informed by Ekin-Su’s team that due to her getting crazy money offers from lots of other massive company’s and increased TV commitments they’ve cancelled all of her UK club appearances. We are as disappointed as you, and we’re even more disappointed that the only replacements we’ve been offered are Danica, Adam or Billy.

“At Quids In, we only want to give you best entertainment, so in our opinion it’s not worth replacing her with someone no one cares about (emoji).

“So instead we’re going to throw one hell of a party and give a £500 cash prize to 1 lucky ticket buyer on the night.

“If you’re disappointed and would rather not come, we’ll be happy to offer a refund via Fixr, but if you’d like to still come to the biggest Monday night party in the world, you’ll still have a wicked time!”

Fans of the show have been speculating about how successful Ekin-Su is set to become after winning this year’s series with partner Davide Sanclimenti.

An article from the Daily Star predicted: “As an actress, Ekin-Su is reported to earn an estimated £16,000 per episode.

“Based on an episode taking between five and eight days of filming, her average hourly salary would sit at £266 after working a 7.5-hour day.

“However, as the first Islander of 2022 to reach 1,100,000 followers, her social earnings per post currently stand at £9,518, meaning she would need to work for 35.78 hours to make the same amount as a post.

The Daily Star has approached Ekin-Su’s representatives for comment.
