Prince Harry and Meghan Markle requested a 'secret meeting' with Tom Holland and Zendaya

According to reports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have requested to speak with Spider-Man couple Tom Holland and Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were keen to get in touch with the English actor, 25, and the American actress, also 25, even though they’d never met or even spoke to one another before.

The Spider-Man: No Way Home couple took the Box Office by storm last year – playing the roles of Peter Parker and his girlfriend MJ.

It is claimed that the Hollywood couple were taken by surprise when the offer of meeting Prince Harry and Meghan landed.

An old pal of Harry’s allegedly told MailOnline: “Tom and Zendaya were rather bemused, from what I hear.

“Tom had never met Harry or spoken to him in his life, so didn’t know what they wanted.”

But the source did go onto to claim that the secret meeting did indeed take place, reportedly at the Sussexes’ £11 million mansion in Montecito, California.

While there were no further whispers about the alleged private discussion, it had been suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan could have asked them to take part in one their latest media projects.

In reports earlier this week, it was reported that the Sussexes had teamed up with audio giant Spotify in relation with their £18 million podcast deal.

It is claimed that Spotify have now joined forces to help produce content for the royal pair.

With the music streaming services provider now on-board, it is thought that Harry and Meghan could be looking for a major Hollywood couple to join them on their podcast.

Prince Harry and Meghan originally pledged to promote “shared values” on their show but have so far only managed to produce one show.

Back in July, Archewell hired Rebecca Sananes, who is an experienced podcaster, told fans they were “looking forward to sharing more content later in 2021”.

Spotify had reportedly expected the first “complete series” from Archewell Audio in 2021, but there has been no further comment since.

Daily Star has contacted Harry and Meghan’s reps for comment.
