Ronan Keating addresses rumours that stunning daughter Missy is joining Love Island

Ronan Keating says he “hasn’t heard” yet if his daughter will be taking part in Love Island 2022 or not.

The former Boyzone band member was put on the spot during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Thursday 19 May.

On the programme, Ronan was interviewed by host Ben Shephard, 47, and Kate Garraway, 55, when the Tipping point presenter slipped in a quick question about Missy Keating appearing on Love Island.

Ben said: “I’m very excited as you know, I am a watcher of television, to hear the rumour that Missy your daughter may be making her way onto Love Island?”

Kate added: “She’s doing so brilliantly on Dancing With The Stars already isn’t she.”

“Is there any truth, will we be watching her on the new series,” asked Ben?

“Yeah she did great,” coyly responded Ronan at first.

Looking a little stunned by the question and shaking his head, Ronan chirped back: “I haven’t heard anything but you never know these kids are busy.

“All my kids they’re all busy doing different things, i haven’t heard anything myself at the moment.”

Kate continued: “How would you feel? Because I am sure you love Love Island but i wonder if it’s different if you are a dad with a daughter on it.”

Swerving the question, Ronan replied: “Pass, yeah I don’t know how i feel about that one.”

Meanwhile, last year proved to be quite a difficult period for Ronan and the Keating family after his wife storm was rushed to hospital for emergency spinal surgery.

After undergoing a lengthy recovery process, Storm vowed on Instagram that she wanted nothing more than to lift her baby daughter Coco again.

Sharing a sweet black and white picture with her son Cooper and Coco, she penned: “My babies 10 days post surgery and I am doing great.

“One day soon I’ll be able to lift her up and into my arms again… the lord himself knows that every little piece of my heart and soul can’t wait!”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am
