Sharon Osbourne has revealed she was forced to get 24 hour security after being bombarded with death threats.

The 69-year-old appeared on tonight’s episode (April 27) of Piers Morgan’s TalkTV show Uncensored where she explained the consequences of being fired for allegedly being racist.

Last year, Sharon’s The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood, 58, accused Piers, 57, of being racist towards Meghan Markle – something which Sharon defended.

Shortly after, the former X Factor judge was fired from the show after 11 years.

Sharon said: “I never thought in my wildest dreams that my career after 50 years would have ended that way. I mean, what did I want my legacy to be, that I was fired because I was accused of being racist?”

Speaking about what happened after she was fired, Sharon explained that she doesn’t scare easily, however admitted: “Some of the comments that were coming through on my social media were so horrific about cutting my throat, my husband’s, even the dogs, they wanted to kill my dogs!”

Sharon went on to say that the threats moved to her husband, Ozzy Osbourne and their kids which she thought was “just insanity.”

The TV personality explained that she went back to CBS and said: “Not only can I not earn a living, but now I have to have 24 hour security because of you. And they go ‘so what?”

The former Good Morning Britain host then asked Sharon if she has spoken to her co presenter Sheryl since being fired.

Sharon explained that she sent her former co host “three texts of apologies” however she never got a response.

She revealed that the TV host then went on to national TV and publicly stated that Sharon had never apologised.

After the former music manager printed texts of their conversation, Sheryl came out and said: “Well, that’s not an apology because I wanted it in a phone call.”

The former Talk TV presenter that she “never stopped crying” for three months and explained that she was having “therapy and ketamine treatment” to deal with what had happened.

When asked by Piers if she ever felt suicidal, the mum-of-three said: “Not suicidal because I didn’t want to give CBS the satisfaction.”
