Stacey Solomon 'emotional mess' as she shares glimpse of stunning wedding dress

Stacey Solomon and her sister Jemma were left in floods of tears as the Loose Women star selected a beautiful wedding dress for her wedding to Joe Swash.

The 32-year-old TV personality took to Instagram giving fans a sneak peak as to what she could be wearing on her magical day – with the date not yet confirmed but we know it will be taking place in July.

Not wanting to alarm superstitious followers, the former X Factor star confirmed she’d gone to extreme measures to keep her white gown a secret from husband-to-be Joe Swash.

Addressing her online admirers the mum-of-four confessed she’d blocked the former Eastenders star from viewing any of her story posts – while discussing options for the special day.

With the selection process taking place at home in Pickle Cottage, Stacey took fans on video tour around her spare room to showcase some of the stunning items.

Giving fans a cheeky insight into what she could be wearing she panned the camera swiftly around the room – showing off some gorgeous pieces.

She penned over the video: “Good morning from me and some words I never imagined I’d be saying.

“I’m picking my wedding dress today!”

Then she interjected: “Joe is still away and I’ve hidden him from my stories, don’t worry!”

Meanwhile, Stacey returned to social media to confirm that she had chosen her ideal dress for her special day.

The ITV star could be seen wearing a stunning sweetheart frock with embroidery all over and a traditional white veil.

It all proved to be too much for Stacey who confessed she’d been an “emotional mess” during the trying on session as she captured a selfie picture with her sister – and they were both sobbing.

She captioned: “Today I Choose My Wedding Dress.

“And I never want to forget this feeling… I’ve been putting it off I think because the more I got excited about it the more silly I felt for some reason…

“I started feeling really conscious about not being, well I don’t know I wouldn’t have done life any other way EVER. I’m so grateful for how it turned out and I genuinely believe everything happens for a reason. But I suppose sometimes those old fashioned narratives make you feel that way don’t they?”

The panellist went on to add: I decided to try my dresses on, at home with just me not making a “thing” of it. But it turns out it felt like the hugest “thing” ever.

“My sister dropped the kids back from school and popped up and we both ended up emotional messes.”

Stacey finished up with: “I loved every single second of today, trying them on, imagining seeing Joe for the first time, feeling the veil on my shoulders & seeing the glitter sparkle as I moved around.

“None of these are THE dress but I took this picture to remember how excited I felt today. And no matter who, how or what way around you do it, it’s the most special moment ever.”
