Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood unrecognisable after transformation

Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood looked unrecognisable after undergoing a dramatic transformation for Halloween night on the beloved BBC One dancing competition.

After Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcomed viewers to the much-anticipated Halloween night on October 29, they introduced the four judges to the stage.

Walking down the steps, each judge looked completely unrecognisable – but Craig even more so than the others.

Channelling the glamorous and sassy Morticia Addams from The Addams Family, Craig looked incredible as he posed up a storm in a figure-hugging dress and raven-hued wig.

He had a full face of makeup and his off-the-shoulder dress showing off his collar bones and gothic necklace the 57-year-old judge flaunted his new look.

While Craig channelled Morticia, Motsi Mabuse wore a spooky outfit inspired by a skeleton, Anton Du Beke donned a Captain Hook costume and Shirley Ballas channelled Gomez from The Addams Family.

Viewers at home were completely taken aback by the judges’ costumes – but more so with Craig’s incredible transformation.

One fan took to Twitter and penned: “Craig looks AMAZING holy sh*t #strictly.”

Another said: “CRAIG AS MORTICIA AAAAAHHH I AM SO OBSESSED #strictly.”

“Craig as Morticia – loving it! #Strictly,” added a third.

Some fans noticed a change in Craig’s judging manner, with one writing: “Craig giving decent marks tonight. Should dress up as a woman more often.”

“Craig is obviously much nicer as a woman! #Strictly,” echoed a second, who thought Craig’s persona had shifted a little.

The judges looked sensational for the spooky night

Throughout the episode Craig – or should we say Morticia – flipped his hair and pouted up a storm, which left viewers falling in love with his transformation even more.

For the Halloween week episode, the celebrities and their professional dance partners threw on their glad rags and dressed as spooky characters to haunting tracks.

Although the judges and dancers were dressed to fit the theme, hosts Tess and Claudia simply donned all-black outfits, not to outshine the stars of the show.

Strictly Come Dancing will continue on tomorrow night on BBC One and iPlayer.
