The Chase fans fume as they call out ITV show over 'easy questions' for contestant

The Chase fans have complained that the questions were particularly easy during a recent episode.

Once more, four hopefuls took to the ITV show’s panel on Friday (April 1) to try their luck against a Chaser to win a top cash prize.

Bradley Walsh warmly welcomed Jennifer to the show as she stepped up to face the host before her cash builder round.

Jennifer, who wore a bright pink top and styled her short hair slicked back, smiled as she spoke to the host.

She told Bradley that she was from Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire and that she worked as a waitress in a “lovely riverside pub” in Holt Heath.

When Walsh asked her about her hobbies, she said that she “watches a lot of TV shows and films” because she “studied film and TV at university”.

The presenter asked her what she would like to do with the prize money, to which she told him that she “used to work as a summer camp counsellor” in the US and would “love” to go back out there “full time”.

Her round began with some fairly easy questions as Bradley asked her which legendary creature was caught on camera in Scotland in 1933, and she correctly replied with “Loch Ness Monster”.

He then asked her to complete a popular phrase and once again she answered correctly.

Jennifer then answered “King Kong” to Walsh’s next question: “What giant ape did Godzilla fight in the 1962 Japanese film?”

At the end of Jennifer’s round, Bradley told her that she “didn’t do badly” and she managed to secure £5,000, which she was “definitely happy” with.

One fan was fuming at the quiz show: “She’s getting some easy questions.”

Another tweeted: “What a p**s easy question. The other two options were obviously wrong.”

The contestant then had to go up against Chaser Mark Labbett in a head to head round.

Upon his arrival, he made a joke that he “loves waitresses” for “obvious reasons,” implying about his weight.

One viewer turned to Twitter to call out Mark for a mistake: “Amazed Beastie got that very easy one wrong.”

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm
