The Chase fans slam Bradley Walsh for 'patronising' comment to 'gorgeous' player

The Chase fans were gobsmacked when a “gorgeous” contestant went up against The Beast on the beloved ITV quiz show, but were fuming when Bradley Walsh quizzed her on her age.

Host Bradley welcomed Simon, Sharon, Leah and Mayank to the show on Thursday night (November 3), with fans quick to brand Leah “gorgeous”.

As Bradley introduced viewers at home to the panel of hopefuls, one fan of the show took to Twitter to predict: “Waiting for all the guys to mention how pretty Leah is.”

“Leah is a little sweety,” gushed a second, while a third swooned: “Very fit.”

“Her voice is a turn on, talk to me baby,” added a fourth.

Blonde beauty Leah, a community volunteer lead for the Rugby World Cup from Manchester, got seven questions correct in the quickfire round.

Taken aback by how well she did, Bradley asked Leah her age, when she revealed that she was 25 – but viewers at home were less than impressed.

Leah appeared on Thursday night’s show

“She’s good and her age isn’t relevant Brad,” noted one viewer.

Another penned: “F*** off Brad you patronising sh*tebag asking a young player for her age!”

“Yes, go on with age patronising, Brad. It’s not like we haven’t heard it before,” echoed a third.

With the cash pot already at £13,000 and Leah offered £50,000, the blonde beauty opted for a safe sum of money and stuck with £7,000 which would take home up to £20,000.

Sadly Leah didn’t make it to the final round and was booted off the quiz

Sadly The Beast caught Leah and she was booted out of the competition, which left fans watching at home incredibly upset.

GP Mayank was up next and beat Leah’s quickfire cash builder and bagged £9,000, which he stuck with and attempted to get back to home with.

Getting through after a victorious round up against The Beast Mark, Mayank joined the other two players.

The final three quizzers had £22,000 to play for in the final round, with them earning 21 steps.

The Beast was thrown off course and ended up losing out on catching the team, just three steps away.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
