This Morning's Josie Gibson says young son is 'talking to his late grandparents'

This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has revealed her late dad is haunting her home and chatting to her young son.

Last month she filmed a Halloween segment at a former pub in Gloucestershire, which is one of the most haunted buildings in the UK.

And she was spooked by four-year-old Reggie when she got back to her home in Bristol.

Josie says: “I went to this haunted house with This Morning called the Ancient Ram Inn – one of the most haunted places in the world.

“The energy there is weird – there was something you could feel.

“When I got home the next day I was in bed with Reg and he said: ‘Mummy, there’s a ghost next to me’.

“I thought I’d brought something back with me from this haunted house!”

But Josie was even more shocked when Reggie revealed the spook’s identity – her own father, who died when Josie was young.

She recalls: “I said: ‘Is it a nice ghost or a not nice ghost?’

“He said it was nice and then: ‘Mummy, he’s behind you now. He’s so nice because he’s your dad’.

“My dad died when I was really young but I’ve never had a conversation about my dad with my son.

“Reg said: ‘He told me to tell you he loves you very much’.”

The spiritual child also says he’s been communicating with his other grandad, the late dad of his own father Terry.

Josie adds: “I said: ‘Who else have you been talking to?’

“Reg said: ‘I’ve been talking to daddy’s dad and he told me he loved burning the boat’.

“When I spoke to Reggie’s dad the next day I asked if his dad had anything to do with burning a boat.

“He said years ago he got so fed up of keeping his boat together that he burnt it down.

“Is that not the weirdest thing you’ve ever heard in your life?”

Josie shot to fame after winning Big Brother in 2010, clocking up the highest percentage of votes in the show’s history.

And the 37-year-old is thrilled the show is back for a 2023 reboot.

Josie says: “I was over the moon to hear Big Brother is coming back on ITV.

“I love Big Brother and think it’s one of the best shows on the planet. I liked it in the original days and I think ITV will bring that back – open it back up to more normal people with different jobs.”

So what advice does she have for Daily Star readers considering applying?

“I would say absolutely go for it,” says Josie. “Don’t worry too much because when you’re in there you’ll forget the cameras are there.

“Not many people get to enter the Big Brother house, so if you do, you’ll realise how special it is.”

This Morning airs from 10am on weekdays on ITV.
