Law enforcement sources told the publication that they “received a 911 call Thursday (December 8) morning from a person who said Ronnie was outside their home and having a hard time breathing”.

They said: “A few minutes later, he wasn’t breathing at all.

Paramedics reportedly “rushed to the San Fernando Valley address where bystanders were attempting CPR”, but the efforts “didn’t work” and “he was pronounced dead at the scene”.

A cause of death has not been announced, although Ronnie had previously battled cancer.

His mum Tina is yet to comment on his death.

The tragedy comes four years after Tina’s eldest son Craig shot himself dead in July 2018.

She gave birth to Craig when she was 18, having gotten pregnant by saxophone player Raymond Hill.

Craig worked as a realtor and took his own life at his Studio City home in July 2018 aged just 59.

At the time, Tina tweeted: “My saddest moment as a mother.

“On Thursday, July 19 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California.

“He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.”

Ronnie was born in 1960, to Tina and her husband Ike.

He starred alongside his mom in 1993 biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It, which told the story of her life.

She also adopted ex-husband Ike Turner’s two sons, Ike Jr and Mike.

Craig’s dad Raymond and Tina, then known as Little Ann, were in a relationship in 1957 when she was just 17 and a new backing singer for Ike’s band.

Raymond died in 1996 from heart failure aged 62. Tina was married to Ike between 1962 and 1978.
