Tipping Point fans all share same complaint as counters fail to drop from machine

Tipping Point viewers were left fairly unimpressed during the latest episode as they realised the counters were barely dropping from the machine.

During the final round of the popular ITV show, a contestant named Stephen managed to beat off his competition to become the last man standing.

However when it was Stephen’s chance to gain some cash from the machine after answering the questions that presenter Ben Shepard hurled at him, he appeared to struggle.

Noticing that hardly any counters were dropping, fans rushed to Twitter to share thoughts while begging Stephen not to take the trade.

One social media user fumed: “That counter is a right stubborn s***.”

Referring to a previous contestant, someone else wrote: “That counter’s moving less than dave.”

Another fan advised: “Just play in drop zone 2 and take some money.”

Meanwhile a fourth added: “Don’t take the trade.”

As Stephen continued in the game, he did answer a fair few questions correctly.

But the machine didn’t reflect his efforts as only a few counters dropped down.

And to Stephen’s disappointment, the star counter also failed to budge.

Despite the evident tussle, Stephen didn’t walk away empty handed and still managed to bag £2,750 from the stubborn machine.

Earlier this year, fans called for a Tipping Point shake-up after they noticed two of the four drop zones in machine work out a lot better for players.

Currently, the famous Tipping Point machine has four drop zones, but eagle-eyed fans claim they’ve worked out that the counters fare much better in just two of the zones.

Some fans have suggested that hopeful contestants on the game show only use the two better zones.

Discussing this aspect on Twitter during a previous episode, one viewer shared: “Always put the jackpot counter down 1 or 4. Then you don’t have this b******* about having to change zones.”

Another said: “Have these people never watched before. You should choose Z1 or 4.”

And when things started to go pretty badly for the player during the episode, one spectator chimed: “That’s why you don’t pick 2 or 3, can get pushed into other zones easily.”
