Tipping Point viewers brand contestant 'too good' for ITV show after mega cash win

Fans of ITV’s Tipping Point have branded a contestant “too good” for the show as he appeared to execute superb knowledge on the popular quizzing programme.

Mike came onto Ben Shephard’s afternoon show with a good spirit and hopes of winning the jackpot prize.

But when fired with questions by the presenter, Mike answered them with ease and managed to get several of them correct.

Seeing that Mike had a fair amount of skill, Tipping Point viewers were clearly behind him.

Jumping on Twitter, fan shared their thoughts on smart player, with one spectator writing: “Mike too good for Tipping Point.”

Mike did very well for himself

Another viewer shared: “Hope Mike wins cos he’s actually got a brain which is more than can be said for most contestants.”

As the programme progressed, Mike seemed to beat off his rivals and sailed straight through to the final round.

And things continued to go well for Mike as his knowledge seemed to shine through once again.

Placing three counters in the machine each time, Mike tried his best to go for the £20,000 jackpot prize.

Despite going for the big bucks, the £10,000 jacpot luckily slipped out of the machine leaving Mike evidently excited.

Seeing the player’s amazing win, fans couldn’t wait to jump onto Twitter to share their thoughts and to congratulate Mike.

One viewer said: “Well at least he won, but that double was unlucky.”

Another shared: “No1 can tell me tipping point isn’t fixed. No chance they letting him go home with £20k.”

A third viewer wrote: “So happy for him.”

While a fourth added: “Brilliant. Nice chap.”

Although things went swimmingly for Mike, last week Tipping Point fans were left frustrated and blasted the show for its “nonsense rules” after one player was “robbed” of some counters.

On Thursday’s show (June 23) a contestant named Kaitlin knocked down one counter initially and several other counters followed just seconds later.

But Ben declared the drop as “ambient” and it wasn’t added to her total score.

However fans were unhappy with the result and jumped onto Twitter to complain.

One viewer fumed: “Nonsense rules AGAIN on #tippingpoint those counters are hers as it was during her go.”
