Tipping Point viewers distracted as 'very cute' player tries luck on ITV show

Tipping Point viewers were very distracted on Friday evening (December 9) when a “very cute” contestant took on the iconic gameshow hosted by Ben Shephard.

Ben welcomed Keith, Odette, Matt and Karen to their podiums in order for them to battle it out and win some cash.

As soon as the show began at 4pm, viewers were already swooning over one of the contestants.

“Matt’s not bad looking,” stated one viewer, complete with a tongue sticking out emoji.

Another gushed: “#CuteGuy on #TippingPoint… Matt.”

Viewers thought Matt was ‘very cute’

To which another viewer – who was wooed by Matt – replied: “Very cute.”

But sadly, Tipping Point heartthrob Matt was the first hopeful to be booted off the beloved ITV1 show after earning the least out of the four players.

“Bye Matt, who didn’t have a lovely day,” penned one viewer when the “very cute” player was brutally axed.

Ben had to deliver the sad news that Matt had been axed

Elsewhere viewers complained that there were very few people tuning into Tipping Point and taking to the Twitter hashtag to discuss the goings on.

One person fumed: “Not a lively hashtag today like yesterday.”

While another pointed out: “Everyone must be watching the football,” because of the FIFA World Cup which aired on BBC One from 2:30pm until 5:15pm.

Sadly Matt was the first to be booted off the show

Odette ended up making it to the final round of the beloved gameshow, after knocking out all three of her fellow players.

Having banked £1,550, Odette went head-to-head against the machine in order to win the huge jackpot of £10,000.

Odette was incredibly glamorous and donned a bright pink lip, a mustard turtleneck and a chic tweed overcoat.

“Odette must be cold she’s still got her coat on she won’t feel benefit when she outside,” joked one fan on Twitter, before they added: “I like Odette’s glasses.”

Tipping Point airs weekdays from 4pm on ITV1.
