X Factor star sets sights on Kim Kardashian romance but fears Kanye West backlash

X Factor winner Matt Terry discussed his celebrity crush, Kim Kardashian.

The singer won the show in 2016 and recalled an old interview where he revealed his famous crush was reality TV queen Kim Kardashian.

The 28-year-old chatted exclusively to the Daily Star on a Facebook Live tell-all with showbiz reporter Carly Hacon.

The talk show host brought up how he once said he would try to learn how to rap so he could try to impress the Kardashian.

Matt said: “Really? I don’t remember saying that but that’s funny if it’s true. Literally, all I know is the rap in the Justin Bieber song, I am no rapper.

“That’s funny, I mean, who doesn’t fancy Kim K? That is jokes, but yeah.”

He also talked about a link that he had with the TV star, and said: “Oh my god, actually I wore SKIMS and SKIMS put it on their Twitter, so I don’t know, maybe she would have seen that.”

If he had a message for her, he’d say: “Kim, your brand has reposted my Instagram, so, let’s talk.”

But what about having to look over his shoulder for her ex Kanye West?

He quipped: “Yeah, no thanks, I don’t want to get involved in that. I’ll love her from afar. Yeah, no thanks, I’ll stay here.”

Matt added: “Do you know, what I love them both so much and I hope one day they will hit it off again. I’m team Kimye.”

Matt also revealed his dream music collabs and said how Adele and Jade Thirlwall were on the agenda.

He explained: “If I’m shooting for the stars, Adele, hello! Unrealistic, let’s be real but I can dream. I love her, I nearly swore then, sorry, but she’s the one.”

But as fellow X Factor legend Little Mix officially split ways, who would he like to pin down on a track out of the lovely ladies?

He said: “I think they are phenomenal, they are icons. It’s really tough that one, but, Jade.

“I love different things about each of them but I think Jade. I think I can see her releasing music that I really want to listen to.

“Yeah, and the other girls are going to be mumming it up.”

Matt is currently starring in the musical Rock Of Ages as Stacee Jaxx and fans from all over the UK can see him at a theatre near them.
