Tammy Slaton has confessed she was “big from birth” and let fans get a glimpse of her rarely-seen baby pictures.
The 1000lb Sisters star, who appears alongside her sister Amy on the TLC reality show, has been on a weight loss journey for several years now, and looked incredible as she shared snaps from her food rehabilitation centre.
Tammy has lost a lot of weight around her face after achieving her ‘goal’ weight of 550lbs to undergo bariatric surgery.

But the 36-year-old admitted that life has “thrown [her] some obstacles” and shared a series of throwback snaps from her childhood as part of the show.

Tammy said that by the time she was two, her mum had to buy adult clothes just to fit her, and trim the trouser legs down to size.
She said: “I mean, I was always big, I was big from birth. Mom keeps saying, when I was like, two and three, she would have to buy adult clothes just to fit me.
“It just progressed. I got depressed and then it turned into a food addiction.”
According to the sisters, Amy and Tammy’s mum Darlene couldn’t spend much time with them because of work commitments, so they often spent time with their grandmother.

When she passed away, they were left to their own devices.
In never-before-seen childhood snaps, Tammy could be seen wearing a white t-shirt with her name on it, with curly hair that reached her shoulders.
Another snap – which looked to be a school photo – showed the star with a fringe and pink bow in her hair as she grinned for the camera in a pink top.

Tammy has since shown off her incredible weight loss in a series of TikToks, showing her looking incredibly slimline around her face and engaged in a series of sweaty workouts from her wheelchair.
In a recent clip, Tammy could be seen in a loose-fitting red dress, with pigtails in her hair and her tattoo visible on her collarbone.
Since having her breathing tube removed, Tammy covered her tracheotomy scar with a bandage and wore an oxygen cannula in her nostrils – but looked a lot healthier.
