Abbey Clancy recalled the mortifying moment she accidentally sent a racy bikini snap to 200 of her husband’s friends.
The married couple, who have been together for 17 years and share four kids, shared the embarrassing moment when the couple appeared on The Chris Evans Breakfast show this week. The doting mum admitted that she often uses Peter’s golfing WhatsApp group to track his whereabouts when he’s running late.
But things quickly backfired when the 37-year-old unintentionally sent a saucy snap to the group that was intended to go to her friend who bought her the tiny two-piece. The star claimed that she was blinded by the sun when she sent over the summery snap at the time.

She told listeners: “I was texting my friend, she bought me a bikini and I was texting her a picture of it and you know when you type the first two letters of a name, and I couldn’t see in the sun.” Peter cheekily chimed in: “You’ve gotta remember there’s 200 golfers on this WhatsApp group. We were away, I don’t know how this even happened.”

The blonde bombshell shared her shock upon realising the error but emphasised that it wasn’t an explicit image, rather than a light-hearted picture on the beach. Abbey added: “I was mortified. It wasn’t like a sexy shot, it was like a fun, ‘I’m at the beach in a bikini you bought me’.”
Once the couple became aware of the mix-up, the former England striker promptly deleted the text for everyone to see on the group chat. But the sporting legend quickly found out he was too late when he began receiving cheeky messages from his friends moments later.
He said: “All the lads are like, ‘Don’t worry, we’ve got the screenshot. I’ve laminated it and put in on the bedroom wall’ was one of the quotes. The hilarious admission comes after Abbey revealed her husband Peter Crouch left her in tears after he told her she was “ruining his life”.

The happy couple appear to be the image of a perfect family, regularly sharing their embarrassing moments and family get-togethers on their joint podcast, The Therapy Crouch. But that doesn’t mean the duo don’t sometimes have problems of their own.
Recently, the duo argued about getting a puppy with the footballer making it clear he didn’t want a new pet in the house. It’s something he’s apparently very firm on and has been for years.
But Abbey is more than happy to have another youngster to look after – even if it is the four-legged kind. The model was even left in tears about the puppy. The couple spoke to The Guardian in a chaotic new interview win which Abbey revealed that during puppy-gate, Peter texted her saying: “I love you but you are ruining my life.”

The news comes shortly after Abbey Clancy’s new ITV show, In Celebrity Homes hit the airwaves this week. Loyal fans of the former Strictly Come Dancing winner will know the star has always had a passion for interior design, and her six-part series sees her explore several celebrity homes up and down the country.
In the first episode, fans got a glimpse inside the lavish home of Heidi Range which she shares with her husband Alex Partakis and their two kids Aurelia, five, and Athena, two. Speaking in MailOnline’s first look clip of the series, Abbey admits: “Anyone who says they don’t like peaking inside of people’s houses is a liar”.
She explained her love for interiors was born out of her pleasure for the finer things in life. She went on: “I’m addicted to looking at properties… I think I look at properties more than I look at clothes.” The star will also take a step inside former Love Island stars Olivia and Alex Bowen, The Apprentice Queen of Mean Linda Plant and ex-wife of Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie, Jo Wood.
