Amazon Prime viewers 'screaming and having panic attacks' watching horror film

Amazon Prime viewers have been left ‘crying’ and ‘screaming’ while watching The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

And some fans were so distressed that they suffered a panic attack during the 2021 supernatural horror film, the third and latest installment in the Conjuring franchise.

It follows paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) who are called to investigate an eight-year-old boy who appears to have been possessed by the Devil.

Chilling scenes see the Warrens, who were real-life demon investigators, become the centre of the first American murder trial to claim demonic possession as a defence.

But it seems the 112-minute-flick was too much for some viewers to bear, with many revealing how horrified they got online.

One fan wrote: “Saw The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. 10/10, best thing ever. I did have a panic attack within 5 minutes of the start, because of loud noises. It was really good though.”

Another revealed how someone sitting next to her on a plane looked like they were about to have a heart attack during the movie.

They wrote: “Watching the Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and thinking about how the first time I watched it was on a plane coming back to Texas and I screamed and the guy sitting by me looked like he was going to have a literal heart attack. Good times.”

A third penned: “Not me crying while watching The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Lmaooooo.”

A fourth was also emotional as they commented: “The Conjuring The Devil Made Me Do It (2021): Almost started crying at the end, might be the best out of the three conjuring movies.

“I’m writing this before the credits roll and I did, in fact, cry for the last scene. 8/10. I love the fake Warren’s.”

The film is streaming on Prime in the UK, but fans across the pond can watch it on Netflix in the US.

There are currently eight films in the Conjuring universe, which began with The Conjuring in 2013.
