Coronation Street fans are worried for Toyah Battersby after a mysterious woman showed up at her doorstep claiming to be Spider’s wife.
Toyah was at home with Sam and Leanne when the buzzer went and a mystery brunette called Layla appeared.
Unnerve by her presence, Leanne welcomed her in but when Toyah bumped into Spider at the shops he told Leanna that his wife was in America and she was in imposter.

Spider was seen making a mysterious call to Toyah who looked terrified as Layla looked on.
Fans are now convinced she is in danger and the woman is seeking some sort of revenge against Toyah, or is jealous of their relationship.

“Whoever this, ‘Layla’, is, she’s got those same kinda, “I’m a crazy woman with ‘boggly’ eyes”,” a fan said.
“Something tells me this woman at Toyah’s is trouble,” said a second.
A third agreed: “Toyah jump off the balcony get away!”
A fourth chimed in” “That woman is going to kidnap Toyah with her henchmen,” and
“toyah watch your back.”

Their theories were heightened further when Leanne and Spider returned to find a broken coffee mug and blood on the floor and Toyah and Sam were nowhere to be found.
Toyah was later pictured tied up and gagged in a van with Layla at the wheel.
As Max and Lauren headed off, he decided honesty was the best policy and admitted to Sabrina that he had supported Lauren on a visit to her dad.

At the prison, Max was unnerved at the sight of Reece.
When Reece claimed that Griff had forced him to participate in the gang by threatening Lauren’s life, Max was stunned to realize they wanted him to make a false statement to reduce his sentence.
Adam told Daniel he had arranged to announce Sarah’s pregnancy to their families later.
Sarah told Adam it had been too early in the pregnancy to go public.
As the Platts and Barlows assembled for the big announcement, they were underwhelmed when Adam claimed he had just won a big court case. However, when Daniel arrived late and proposed a toast to the new baby.
When Beth laid into Gemma again for putting Bertie at risk, Chesney asked Kirk to persuade Beth to back off.
Kirk reminded her of what Gemma had been going through with Paul and how she had been truly sorry for her mistake.
