Denise Welch, 64, slams nasty trolls after 'so much flack' over unedited swimsuit snaps

Loose Women panelist Denise Welch has clapped back at evil trolls who disapprove of her sharing swimwear snaps online.

The 64-year-old star opened up with her co-star Kate Adams on her podcast How To Be 60.

Denise revealed that she hopes her unedited pictures posing in stunning swimsuits gives other women confidence to enjoy themselves.

She said: “I get so much flack still posing in swimsuits at 64, but I don’t care because, you know, if one person says, ‘I was feeling really low on myself and I saw you in a swimsuit and you’re in your sixties’

“And you know, I don’t filter them – partly because I don’t know how to.

“I don’t want anybody to put us in a box and say, ‘You can’t wear a bikini at 64, you can’t do this at 64.'”

Former Coronation Street actress Denise went on to add that she was the “poster girl” for it never being too late to do anything as she recalled having her second child, Louise Vincent, aged 42.

While she also looked back at meeting husband Lincoln Townley later in life, dubbing him the “love of my life”.

Denise often opens up about her turbulent life and 30-year battle with mental health and recently spoke on suffering postnatal depression following the birth of her first son and 1975 star Matt Healy.

The TV personality admitted she was upset recently by a US news story about a woman suffering with puerperal psychosis and postnatal depression.

Denise discussed on her podcast the huge impact postnatal depression had on her life after having oldest son Matt’, who is now aged 33.

In a clip shared to Twitter, she said: “I was really upset by a US story about a lady who took the lives of her three children who was suffering with puerperal psychosis and postnatal depression.
