GMB star Andi Peters shares health struggle as he admits he's 'trying his hardest'

Good Morning Britain star Andi Peters shared insight into his health struggles during the latest episode as he confessed he was “trying his hardest to hide it”.

The 52-year-old was clearly under the weather as he presented his usual competition segment on Wednesday morning’s show (March 8).

While talking to presenters Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid via video link about the campervan that it is currently up for grabs, it was evident that something wasn’t right.

Noticing that Andi wasn’t his usual chirpy self, Richard asked him if he was ok.

Richard said: “Have you got a cold? You sound a bit stuffed up.”

Andi replied: “I have unfortunately, I’m trying my hardest to hide it!

“But you know what I even bought- I took from the hotel a pillow and it’s with me.

“So when I’m not talking to you on the telly, I’m literally using the campervan properly and having a little lie down.”

Susanna replied: “Very good, get well soon Andi.”

Andi clearly wasn’t well

Later on in the show, when the cameras revisited Andi the former children’s presenter made sure he gave the information for the compeition lying down.

On Wednesday morning’s show, Andi presented the competition from the French Riviera.

But although the star is known to present the competition from a number of exotic locations, fans have often complained about his air miles during the cost of living crisis.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer previously fumed: “Have the well paid people at the top of GMB not worked out yet that stories of poverty and hardship followed by Andi Air Miles Peters jetting about all over the place just isn’t right.”

Meanwhile another furious viewer chimed: “Why do you persist in promoting competitions? Why are you enabling Andi Peters (apparently a multi millionaire who owns the company that administers the competitions) to make money from vulnerable people? A bit hypocritical given all your talk of the cost of living crisis.”
