Harry Potter’s Crabbe star unrecognisable with face tattoo and beard after prison stint

One Harry Potter star looks completely unrecognisable after getting out of prison – with a face tattoo and a huge beard.

Jamie Waylett shot to fame in the first six films of the franchise, playing Slytherin student Vincent Crabbe – Draco Malfoy’s loyal best friend.

He held the role down from 2001 until 2009, when he suddenly disappeared from the final two instalments of the films while facing a series of legal issues in real life.

Jamie was first arrested for drug-related offences in April 2009 after cops found a knife and eight bags of cannabis in his car. And after a thorough investigation, cops discovered he was growing the drug at his mum’s London home.

The star was found guilty and sentenced to 120 hours of community service, but that wasn’t the end of his legal battles.

Two years later in 2011 – at the height of the London riots – Jamie was arrested for a second time and convicted of violent disorder.

He was sentenced to two years behind bars, with his life spiralling out of control after his quick rise to fame.

His legal issues haven’t been the only tough thing for the actor to face, however, as at the age of just nine, he was hit by a car.

Doctors expected him to die or suffer severe brain damage, but he shocked everyone by making a full recovery.

However, now Jamie’s life looks to be back on track, and he’s even offering personalised videos for Harry Potter fans on Cameo.

In one clip, he told fans: “What’s going on people, it’s your boy Jamie Waylett.

“I played Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter movies one to six and I’m very excited to have the opportunity to give the people and loved ones in your life that you care about a special message.

“That’s it from me, I look forward to hearing from you. Slytherin for life.”

The video shows Jamie looking a lot different from his Hogwarts days, sporting a row of six star tattoos over his left eyebrow and a bushy brown beard.

His short brunette hair remains the same, however, as the actor relaxed in a black hoodie.
