Helen Skelton forced to step in as Strictly star drops huge show spoiler live on TV

Morning Live host Helen Skelton was left red-faced after Angela Rippon dropped a major Strictly Come Dancing spoiler live on air.

The hit BBC Show returned for another instalment on Tuesday (September 12) with Helen and Gethin Jones back at the helm.

But things took a rather awkward turn when the Strictly 2023 star let slip a huge secret.

On the show, the hosts were joined by Angela Rippon, who is set to appear in this year’s series of the glitzy BBC show.

Talking about all things Strictly, Gethin asked: “Are you happy with your partner?”

Angela then accidentally replied: “I adore him! He is super, I love him.”

However, despite Helen doing all she could to cover up the blunder, Angela has revealed her dance partner is male.

Trying to move on and correct the error, Helen looked rather sheepish as she quipped: “Or her!”

But Angela, who was completely unaware, responded with: “No, no!”

Helen then replied: “We can’t say, we never know, we are not allowed to give any clues!” before winking at Angela.

Releasing the epic blunder and after a short pause, Angela said: “Oh, alright!”

Strictly is waltzing back onto TV screens in just a few days, with Angela Rippon, Les Dennis, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and the late Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier among the crop of new celebs donning sequins and sparkles.
